The Barfection Shake Start programme is a free Level 2 Skills Bootcamp designed to prepare individuals for entry-level bar and hospitality roles.
The course combines an accredited qualification with hands-on training in drink preparation, cocktail making, and customer service, alongside real industry experience through employer placements. It equips learners with the practical skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to work in fast-paced bar and service environments.
There are no formal qualification requirements to join the course, and no prior hospitality experience is needed. However, learners should have a basic level of English and communication skills (typically Level 1 or above) to engage with customer-facing activities.
