This Skills Bootcamp covers everything you need to gain your HGV Category CE licence and drive vehicles of up to 44 tonnes professionally.
You will prepare for and sit your theory test, undertake two weeks of practical HGV driver training at our HGV school in Knowsley, and take your test. The course also includes carbon literacy training and work readiness workshops.
This course is suitable for individuals who are unemployed and wish to find employment as an HGV driver. Employers can use the Skills Bootcamp to upskill staff members to take up driving roles within their business.
Applicants must have a current car driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Please note: due to delays with testing availability, course length may exceed 16 weeks.
